YOUR OWN BREATH!

***PLEASE READ***

This improvised taoist-based breath sequence is the core of my teaching for private sessions and Being Breath CirclesTM group breath experientials.

The guided breath sequence is geared toward groups of all sizes and comfort levels. References for partner lovemaking and ejaculation are intended for at-home practice and not permitted in group experientials.


The Four breaths are as follows (no rules, play with it)

1. SLOW Mouth Breath
Open the Pelvis. Send the breath through the mouth BEYOND THE BELLY. Slow mouth breathing, open relaxed jaw all the way down to sit bones, fill belly and beyond with breath... Use this breath to relax and open your pelvis. Allow your pelvis to become your new lungs. Feel the sensations of opening and the sensual life force energy.

2. CHARGE
For about one minute. Sip breath through the mouth like sipping air through a straw. Breathe from the belly, NOT the chest or you'll get dizzy. Watch your breath move from the belly. Feel the power of charge from the pelvis and genitals. Get that charge to move and collect old energy. For partners, try charging with mouths close together during lovemaking. Remembering the pelvis and belly when charging breath is KEY! Charge for no more than 90 seconds and move immediately to CIRCULATE.

3. CIRCULATE
In through nose and out through mouth, for a few breaths. This circulates the energy throughout the head and body. It's a clearing breath, feel the clearing of stagnant energy. Let sound out on the out breath. Play with 1,2,3 and mix them up, do this couple/several times. Switch to circulating before ejaculation if you want to build more energy. LAST Inhale of CIRCULATION, you can choose BIG DRAW, an alternative to ejaculation.

4. BIG DRAW
LAST inhale of CIRCULATION HOLD breath and tense muscles, holding as long as possible, clench fists, buttocks, face, eyes....holding breath as long as possible. RELEASE slowly and feel the sensations, whatever comes up. This dissipates the energy built up in the pelvis/genitals and moves it throughout the body as a healing force. A mini version of big draw can help if you feel tension in the wrists and jaw during the other breaths. Be present to the release and whatever is still holding on.
